Welcome to NTA CYCLES, which stands for NO TWO ALIKE. My goal is to produce a frame assembly that has modern trials motorcycle geometry, with twin shocks, drum brakes and air cooled engine. To date I have built a few around the YAMAHA TY250, two with a HONDA 200X, and a BSA victor 441. The motivation to build these bikes comes from people who would like to ride vintage style events but don’t care for the feel of the old bikes or can’t find one in fit shape to ride. Some folks bring me an engine with a pile of other parts (forks,wheels,hubs) what ever they can find, others will bring a complete donor bike. Building the frame and swing arm then become a matter of placing the mass and weight of what ever engine is being used within the confines of the more modern dimensions and geometry. This becomes a balance of give and take with regard to placement of all the components in order to produce a machine that will handle well and feel more like your modern bike when complete. This concept may not appeal to all, but a few of those I ride with do so only because they like the feel and handling of such a machine as they don’t have to adjust their riding style so much from a modern to a vintage event.
